What each plan includes

Cancel at any time from your account page. A monthly plan has no minimum term: a month is a month. A yearly plan costs 10 months' price, paid up front, so those twelve months are the term you have bought.

The things people ask before paying

What does the free plan actually include?

Every figure we publish, with its source and date; the profession profiles; the guides to choosing a course and to each route into law; the application calendar with a source for every date; and the explanation of each test format, with what each one is scoring. No card, and no trial that turns into a charge.

Why is a year 10 months' price?

Because paying for a year up front is worth two months to us, so we hand the two months back. £16.95 a month is £203.40 over a year; the yearly plan is £169.50. You are not tied in: cancel a yearly plan and you keep it until the year you paid for runs out.

How do I cancel?

From your account page, in two clicks, at any time. No email, no notice period, no cancellation fee, and no telephone call. Cancelling stops the next payment and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

We also email you before a renewal — 7 days before a monthly one and 28 days before a yearly one — so a renewal is never a surprise.

What if I change my mind straight away?

You have 14 days from the day after you subscribe to cancel for a refund, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Because the service starts immediately at your request, we may keep a proportionate amount for any work a person has already done for you in that time — a CV review, or an answer to a support request — and nothing for the material you have read. Email enquiries@assizedata.co.uk and we will deal with it. The full terms are on subscriptions and cancellation.

Is there a student discount?

No, because the price is already set for students: the Data plan at £7.95 is the student price, and the free plan is not a crippled demonstration. We would rather publish one honest price than a list price nobody pays.

Do you take money from law firms?

No. No employer pays to be listed, to be ranked, or for your details. There is no jobs board and there are no referral fees. If that ever changes — a sponsored report, say — it will be labelled on the page, which is a commitment on the brand page.

Is VAT included?

There is no VAT to add. Assize Data Ltd is not registered for VAT, so the price you see is the price charged. If that changes we will say so here before it affects anyone.

Can I buy this for a class or a careers service?

Not yet as a single purchase. If you advise students for a living, the Pro plan gives you the data and the downloads to work from. Email enquiries@assizedata.co.uk and tell us what you need; we would rather build the right thing than guess at a licence.

What happens if a payment fails?

Nothing abrupt. Stripe retries the card over the following days and your access stays open for a fortnight while that runs. You can replace the card yourself at any point in the billing portal. Nothing you have saved is deleted if it lapses: it is there when you come back.

Assize Careers is not a regulator, professional body, university, law school or official careers service, and it is not part of or endorsed by one. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
